Jalal “Jay” Shehadeh
U.S. Century Bank
Jay Shehadeh, general counsel at South Florida’s U.S. Century Bank since 2014, leads a department of 10 that generated more than $1 million in legal fees and title insurance revenues in 2022. He oversees all legal, litigation and corporate matters, as well as loan closings; he helped establish a holding company. He created a title company to assist the bank’s commercial and real estate customers. Shehadeh is a member of the Coalition of South Florida Muslim Organizations and for several years was a member of the American Jewish Committee’s Muslim Jewish Advisory Council. He served as an assistant state attorney in the 10th Judicial Circuit from 2009 to 2011.
